I snapped my key in the door lock many years ago, the complete mechanism had failed. The door has been locked ever since. I had finally given up and started to get quotes but they ranged wildly anywhere from £150 to £250+; was thinking about replacing the uPVC door altogether, but I finally phoned Danum locksmiths and spoke to Stephen who at the time was in the gym, this was about 12 ish on a Saturday. Arrived at my address within the hour, very friendly and informative about what he was doing. Recommended an anti-snap barrel when he was refitting the door mechanism. Tested fitment, alignment to ensure all was ok, could not fault his service. Great service didn’t charge more for coming out on the weekend, would recommend to anyone, in fact, got his number saved for next time. Also just to mention for peace of mind, he is South Yorkshire Police Accredited which is why I opted for his services.
